While usually Ahmadinejad was accompanied by Khamenei entourage such as Dr Velayati , Political adviser to leader , he left Tehran for Egypt on Tuesday 5 February while he was only accompanied by the vice president , in absence of Velayati and without official send off by Khamenei representative !
