صادق زیبا کلام می گوید حکومت ایران ۶ هزار ملیارد تومان برای حفظ حجاب و عفاف زنان هزینه می کند.
به کسانی که می گویند حجاب دغدغه کوچکی است و اولویت ندارد، اگر موضوع کوچکی بود حکومت میلیاردها بودجه برای تبلیغ حجاب صرف نمی کرد.
Sadegh Zibakalam, a well-known professor of political science practising in Iran, stated that last year Iran spent 6 billion tomans (equivalent to 2 billion dollars) on enforcing the mandatory dress code on women. This number compares starkly with the statement of those who downplay the issue of the mandatory dress code, by stating, “ the mandatory dress code is an unimportant issue and that one should not make such a huge fuss about it”. If it were such an unimportant issue, the government would not have expended such a huge amount of money on it. While generous sums are allocated to the imposition of the dress code, provinces like Gilan—one of Iran’s greenest areas—are bereft of bodies to put down forest fires because Iran’s government places greater importance on imposing the hijab on women
