During the past few weeks, it has been excruciatingly painful for the Iranian progressives and liberals to see so many Western academics, activists, and even journalists, consciously chose to turn their back to Iranian people’s struggle for freedom. They chose to condone the January 2026 Massacre committed by the Islamic Republic. The left traded its moral consistency for shameful ideological and geopolitical calculations.
