A man accused of once serving as a high-ranking Iraqi intelligence officer during the Saddam Hussein regime has been arrested following a federal investigation. Homeland Security Investigations announced the arrest of Raad Alanbagi, saying its Detroit office uncovered information linking him to prior service as a high-ranking Iraqi intelligence officer. The arrest reportedly took place in Farmington Hills. Michigan, HSI has not released additional details about Alanbagi’s alleged role in Iraqi intelligence or when he served.
